Jellicoe Street

"Jellicoe Street"

Jellicoe Street has the best of everything! Situated behind Canterbury Road it is close to everything but when you are in the street you can't hear the traffic nor feel as though you are anywhere close to a main road. Many of the people in the street have lived there for many years and there are never any issues or neighbourly conflict. Public transport is easy to access with a bus stop a walk away on Canterbury Road. ABC Child Care is also on Canterbury Rd and in walking distance, as is Roberts McCubbin Primary School - in the other direction. While there are not a large amount of shops close to Jellicoe Street there is a set of shops within walking distance on Middleborough Rd, as is Bunnings and Genesis Fitness. If you want to go a little further then Box Hill Centro or Blackburn shops are just a couple of minutes away. The golf course and parkland is also just a short walk away. Jellicoe Street also has some great views, particularly for those residents who have two storey homes.

Box Hill South

"A great suburb"

Box Hill South is a lovely place to live and a beautiful suburb. In the middle of other suburbs such as Surrey Hills, Box Hill and Burwood, everything is at your fingertips. All the of benefits of Box Hill are just a stones through away while the house prices are generally less than Box Hill itself. Box Hill South itself doesn't have any big developments or shopping malls so there is no issue with street parking and traffic however, all of those things are just couple of minutes away. Box Hill Hospital, Box Hill Centro, Burwood Kmart, Forest Hill Chase etc.. Residents of Box Hill South get the benefits of all of these things without living so close that they become an issue.

Its a lovely suburb with lots of open space including Gardiners Creek which is beautiful, Wattle Park and a variety of sporting ovals. The only downside is that it is starting to become very expensive so younger families are becoming less common in the area. I reckon that takes away a bit of the suburbs feel.
