Waitara Parade

"Most sought after address in Hurstville Grove"

Waitara Parade is the heart and gem of Hurstville Grove; one might even compare it to the equivalent of Wosley Road, Point Piper. The parade has a direct bus route to Hurstville Station 7 days a week. From Hurstville Station it takes on average 17 minutes to get to Central Station and another 2 min to Town Hall Station on the morning express train.
Within and around the parade you will find churches, parks, schools, childcare, football fields, a private tennis academy and even a public boat ramp. Hurstville CBD, including Westfield Hurstville is a mere 2 min drive away and there you can do all your grocery shopping. Alternatively, South Gate Shopping Centre at Sylvania is only an 8 min drive away, there you will find Coles, Woolworths, First Choice Liquor, AMF Bowling Club, Fitness First and a 24 hour McDonalds restaurant.

Waitara Parade is truly an elegant, tranquil and relaxing place to live in, it has a lot of trees, bushes and parks for jogging, power walking and even group fitness activities.
Furthermore, if you take a drive down Waitara Parade you will notice that nearly 80% of the street are two if not three story "mcmansions". Many of these luxury compounds are decked out in very high quality interior finishes. Therefore, because of the aforementioned reasons provided above, Waitara Parade will continue to flourish as Hurstville Grove's most expensive real estate.

Great for

  • Half the properties on Waitara Parade command spectacular water views over Oatley Bay
  • Consistently the most expensive and sought after street in Hurstville Grove

Not great for

  • Cannot grow fruit trees as a lot of parrots and cockatoos live in the area
