It's a lot cheaper than the homes in the side streets. It's fairly quiet expect from 8:00 am -9:00 am and 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm because of school drop off and pick up. it is very safe for a main road I have lived here for 20 years and I have never seen or heard about any road accidents.

I have lived in Brighton east all my life and I have to say it's perfect. It's a great place for families live. It has some of the best schools in the state. It's close to Hampton, church and bay street which have some of the most delicious eateries and high end stores. It's got many parks too many to count but the most note able one is Dendy park it's huge great for walking and every year the council hosts "carols in the park" where local performers perform and the night is ended with fireworks. The neighbors all know each other and will always go out of their way to help make your life easier. It's crazy close to Brighton and Hampton beach. It's a pretty affluent place that's a little bit cheaper than Brighton. The people who live here are mostly families with kids, elderly people who have bought there home back when the suburb was established back in the 50s , the wealthy and minor celebrities. It's a typical suburban neighborhood nothing ever out of the ordinary.
