"Fantastic for families"

Great little street. Quiet. Fantastic neighbours. Great for kids. Bushland at the end of the street.

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids

"Don't go there!"

Teenage drunks roam the streets and pathways at night, constantly hanging out inthe small childrens park. Cars roaring up and down, load music. Just plain awful.

absolutely agree. Wattle Grove in general has deteriorated in the 6 years I have lived there. Undesirable residents now occupy the area, which can largely be attributed to the slump in housing prices in 2008. Hoons can be heard tearing down the streets at night, loud music blasting from at least one home in each street. Pollution is a problem. Rubbish and bottles litter the parks. The once pristine lake usually has bottles and rubbish floating in it. Some days it is so disgustingthat you actually feel for the poor marine life and ducks who call the lake home. It is not all that unusual for people to throw shopping trolleys in the lake. Graffiti is now common-place, whereas this was not the case a few years ago. It has become a very unclean suburb. Liverpool Council does not clean it as much as they used to. Most residents do not care. The once proud estate is on it's knees thanks to residents who do not share the same level of pride to those residents years who lived here years before them. Still some very good residents left but they are honestly few and far between.

Hi looking to rent on Wattle Grove. Has done a few drive pasts. So far seems quiet and family oriented. Then again, i can never really know till i live there. Quite shocked by your comments. Is the situation still the same? We dont need much shopping but peace and quietness is paramount to my family. One of my family is suffering from noise related anxiety disorder. Much appreciate any advice. Thanks.
