The centerpiece of Ferny Hills is the impressive George Wilmore park and Ferny Hills Swimming Pool. Great for families with kids, this is a safe and quiet neighborhood with plenty of things to see and do nearby.

Every Sunday is the Ferny Grove market at the train station, again only a ten minute walk. The local chicken take away - Super Chicken was voted one of the best in Brisbane.
