Nollamara

"Peace and Quiet"

Our daughter didn't want us to buy in Nollamara because of a perceived crime rate.We bought a new villa anyway and it is so quiet in our street,I just love it.We came from Waikiki where we had hoons, graffiti, litter and noise.None of that here.We did the right thing.

hi, may I know which area in Nollamara you are referring to?

I agree with Boocuddles, coz my place is close to yours and centrally located in Nollamara. I have been living in my new house for several months and I really enjoy it to the fullest. It is quiet and peaceful, especially at night you even can hear the sound of needle dropping. I think it all depends on which part of Nollamara to live in, while some parts with homewest and aboriginals are relatively unsafe.

Hi! may I ask you about Sylvia Street? Is it a good street to move in? Thanks!

Goomalling

"Peaceful and Pretty"

Lots of trees and friendly people make Goomalling a very nice place to live if you don't have high school aged children.2 small primary schools are very good but nearest high school is in Northam.
There is always something to do here, lots of clubs and groups to get involved in.The 3 churches there need new people,so does the historical society etc
I love the air,it's so fresh and sweet. Not much traffic either.Houses are much cheaper than Perth.
Shopping isn't so good because the town population is only 500,Northam is the nearest centre for big supermarkets,Target etc

The entry to Goomalling township from Northam is just appalling. You're met with an enormous length of Garrison security fencing along one side of the street, that makes the place look like you're entering Casuarina Prison! Then you see the type of people living in the houses behind that fence, and you begin to understand why it was erected! Most unappealing town I have ever travelled through, looks like you would need to chain everything to the ground to stop it from being stolen. With crime-ridden Northam only 45 kms away, it appears that the authorities have shifted all the crims to Goomalling!

Burnside Way

"Underpriced and Underated...That's Waikiki"

Waikiki is only 1-1.5km from great beaches, all amenities and shopping facilities so why is it so underpriced? Anyone can buy a nice brick and tile home here from $300-$350,000 but in a good Perth suburb this will only get you a small 2 bed villa.

People are friendly here and will often talk to you as you walk the streets,it's cool in summer and warmer in winter.Come and have a look.
