This is a great suburb if you have always wanted to live in a quiet suburb right on the beach. It is still so close to all the amenities of a growing city but far enough for the locals to still think its to far to drive (8 minutes from Geraldton CBD) lol. I grew up in Geraldton and have fond memories of Cape Burney. It is a place where you can surf, beach fish, river fish, 4wd, sandboard, snorkel, swim, bush walk, camp etc etc. I believe it is one of the most underrated suburbs north of Perth and I expect there will be big movement in property growth in the next 18 months.
