Thornleigh
"Tranquil Oasis - Neighbourhood in the old style!!"
We moved to Thornleigh 5 years ago after living in the Northern Beaches for many years. Ok so there is no beach but within 20 minutes I can be in the city or half way to the Central Coast. We are surrounded by bush and parks, both state and national. Lots space (ovals, playgrounds), open sky (if you peer around all the gum trees). Every school in the area is FANTASTIC. Neither of us ever thought we would find country town Australia here in the suburbs of Sydney
Great for
- Fantastic schools
- Easy access to many parks/tennis courts/outdoor activities
- New, multi-level golf driving range under construction
- Affordable
- Clean and close to nature
- Good for young families
Not great for
- Trucks clogging up Pennant Hills Road
- Pennant Hills Road
