Glenvale Road

"ON THE BORDER"

The street in the main is fine. On the downside, it is very common for individuals to speed down the road as it is similar to a "roller-coaster" particularly in the late evening.
The road condition could be improved, but the road itself forms the border between Donvale / Ringwood so the battle is which council pays for the maintenance?
The street is quiet as a rule, and I am not aware of any "criminal activity". In the 12 years I have lived in the street I am aware of 1 burglary only.
With the opening of the new Eastlink mid next year, it will become very simple to head into town with an estimated trip time of round 15 - 20 minutes.
Houses are, in the main, well looked after and there is a strong rural feel about the area which is very green.

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids

The large blocks in the street allow for generous homes to be built and it seems ok to subdivide. Ringwood heights primary is nearby and parks in the form of Loughies and BJ Hubbard Reserves.
