"Good place but noise of big trucks, freighter trains and neighbours"

Only apartment blocks between two train station. North facing has good sunlight but the other side is damp in winter in all rooms. A big ventilation problem whole complex. Very noisy in night due large trucks and freighter train. If you don't mind big noise then not a bad place.
Investors be careful, looks good on price but you will keep paying the fees to re rent apartment every 6 to 9 month. Unless your tenant doesn't have good hearing. When visiting this place, please visit later in the night and you will find everything I have mentioned here.

Great for

  • Trains station
  • Gym
  • Super market, medical center

Not great for

  • Very Noisey, entry to complex difficult
  • Ventilation very little. Damp south facing unit, no sun light
  • No sond proofin inside units & out side

If you are living on Pennant Hills Rd, I would agree.
Having said this, if you are away from the main road, you will find there are many pockets that are quiet with lots of sunlight - even on the South side. I would go as far to say that some of the best spots in Normanhurst are on the South side - thinking of the whole area accessed by Stuart & Campbell Avenues for example.
Properties along or very close to Pennant Hills Rd usually sell for prices that reflect the amount of noise they receive from the road.
