Farrar Boulevard

"One of the better places in Palmerston"

Farrar Blvd is the main street for Farrar. It houses most of the first homes to be built in Farrar. It has some traffic during the day as there is still a lot of building going on. But at night its nice and peacefull. Farrar is made up of about 5% police and 15% Defence and the rest civilian. Property wise, Farrar was a cheap start to building a new home (2003 $40,000 for land). Now land is at about $200,000 and the price of a 3 bedroom sits around the $450,000 upwards and 4 bedroom $500,000 upwards. Its less the 2 kms to the main shops of Palmerston and 20 kms to the big shoping center. For the Defence people its only about 7 Kms to the Army base by car or a 15 min pushbike ride. Farrar has the main medical center for palmerston as well (Great for familys). After livin in Farrar for Since 2003 I would only live in (Farrar, Durack, Gunn, Rosebery) or one of the new suberbs been built at the moment. There not many units in farrar at all. and has parks all around the area.

North Macksville

"By pass the place"

Well what can i say about Mackville? I live in Macksville from 1987 till 2001 and vist 3 to 4 times a year to see family. Its a tiny town full of rude people. the town is in the nambucca river with the well known macksville bridge that should of been by passed of rebuilt 20 years ago. Dont stop in Mackville just drive north 15 more kms till Nambucca where there is nice people and Maccas and KFC.

I agree. I live in Macksville and have to go to Nambucca 6 days a week to get my Maccas and KFC. On the 7th day, I'm usually in Macksville hospital detoxing
