Me and my pup were happily homed in O'Connor Street for 3 years but I decided to move to Camperdown-Stanmore for a bigger during Covid and WFH.
BIG MISTAKE!!!
You don't realise how convenient Chippendale is till you move away. Also it is somehow quieter than the inner-west though it's in the middle of the CBD?!
I could get all my shopping done and home in less than 30 minutes because there is both a Woollies and a Coles within striking distance, not to mention Harris Farm and other specialty food shops. If you're not in the mood to cook, O'Connor is-was SURROUNDED by the BEST places to eat (shout out to LP's Quality Meatsssss and Esterrrrr).
Every afternoon I would walk my pup around Central Park and there is always a handful of other owners and dogs there - everyone is super friendly and chatty. I am already planning to move back - why did I ever think of leaving.😭
