Cowra
"Cowra - great for families"
I moved my family here about 15 years ago. We came from Sydney for the specific reason of finding somewhere better to bring the kids up. My wife and I both found career jobs here and love the place. It takes me 3 minutes to get to work, as opposed to the hour or so in Sydney.
If someone is struggling to fit in here, then I dont see that they would have much success anywhere else.
Sporting facilities and activities for the kids are terrific. There are only 2 empty shops on the Main Street out of 110 so things are going very well.
I would recommend the place to anyone. Give it a try.

Gee thats great, now take off the rose coloured glasses and look closer at Cowra, Doctors dont stay, we dont have decent dental facilities, if we go to a shop and want a specialty item you will have to wait a week, our council members are to old too care and this place definitely lacks things to do for the youth, apart from sport or the pcyc. While ever we have wealthy elderly saying Cowra is dead...which is totally wrong....this place wont advance, we need a decent council not wasting money on usless redevelopments, also I beg to differ, there are certainly more shops than two closed on the main street
