I wrote a review on my street (Bayswater TCE) and titled it “Perfectly situated to everything”. That just about sums it up.

The excellent and recently zoned Hermit Park State School is a 3 minute walk away, gotta love that. A huge park located right behind where the kids can ride their bikes and play. If you look you will find the best swing in Townsville!

You will find take-aways, a corner shop and a hardware store just up the street on the corner of Bayswater TCE and Charters Towers Rd.

There is a Woolies within a short walk and a large Shopping Centre (soon to nearly double in size) about 4 min drive. The beach is about 8 min and Riverway is about 10 min. You can get almost anywhere in Townsville in 10 minutes or less.

There are a number of beautifully maintained Queenslanders that show off the heritage of this street.

Some of the residents on the street have been here for over 40 years. It is nice to chat with them and learn a bit about the history of the area.
