Woonara Drive is located just off Dayboro Road in Petrie. It is approx 4ks from the Strathpine shopping Centre and 6ks approx to the new Northlakes Shopping Centre. There is a Primary school within walkin distance, along with several child care centres and the local Woolworths, IGA and GPO. The medical centre is also a 10 min walk away. There is a bus stop practically outside your doorstep which will take you to the shopping centres or to the train station which is only a few minutes away as well.
There is very little noise from traffic and is a great place to live from singles to couples, families to retirees. The area is home to different varieties of wildlife/birdlife, to the family of beautiful parrots that come to visit in the afternoons along with the odd Koala bear that have taken up residence in a few of the trees. There are footpaths around the local streets which are great to take the kids for walks to the local parks in the area. I guess the thing i like most of all is that the land sizes are great for the kids to play in, approx 1/4 acre. Room if you're wanting a pool and plenty of yard to create a space with gardens or somewhere to just kick a footy with the kids, rather than sitting in a yard the size of a standard bathroom.
Overall, I've been really happy here.
