Veivers Road

"Beautiful steet that runs along the state forest"

Lots of small/medium acerage lots make up the blocks which line this street. I grew up here and it was just beautiful and quiet. The neighbours, many still there, are absolutely lovely and there's a great spirit about the area. Being down the road srom the state forest is amazing and its stunning to walk through and enjoy the Aussie bush. Cedar Creek is about 10-15mins from Beenleigh and the M1 highway, making it about 35mins from both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, so it's a convenient location.

Veresdale Scrub Road

"Nice quiet location in the country, great for horses, located between Beaudesert & Jimboomba"

Located on a gentle hill, this street is peaceful and the views over the valley and mountains are stunning. Comprised mostly of small acerage blocks, not living in the neighbours pockets gives one the feeling of space, but our neighbours have always been friendly and generous. The road is 60kph, but many travel at 80kph which can be worrying if you're out horse riding. Blocks are set back off the road though, so there is plently of space to run, walk or ride without having to be on the road.

We have lived here for over 4 years now and love the peace it affords whilst being close to both Beaudesert and Jimbbomba. It is about 45-60mins from Brisbane CBD so it's probably not the best place if you're looking to get out a lot and enjoy the city nightlife. The local towns have lovely schools and pubs, and the shopping is adequate for a country town. Browns Plains, at 30mins away, is the closest major shopping precinct. All in all, a lovely place to live if you love the peace and quiet of the country but don't wish to live in isolation. It's especially great for families and retirees, the two major demographics of the area.
