Racecourse Drive

"Close to the Racecourse and Surfers, great for Horse lovers and industry workers"

A great mix of dwellings from unit complexes through to canal front mansions and stables.

Being so close to the racecourse you will find a large percentage of the residents work in the horse racing industry. This leads to quite a friendly vibe with many sharing the passion for racing horses. However, if you're not so fond of our equine friends, then you would be well advised to consider somewhere else. This is due to the fact that you may find yourself waking at around 4am most mornings by the constant clip clop of hooves on the footpath outside your home as the horses and their trainers make their way to the track.

The Northern end of Racecourse Drive is where the majority of dwellings are situated, as the Southern stretch is taken up with the Gold Coast Turf Club facilities and commercial buildings.

Very handy position to Surfers Paradise and Chevron Island and good shopping on Bundall Road and Upton Street nearby.

Surfers Paradise

"Great location, prestigious properties but very congested during rush hour and weekends."

Chevron is a great location with a surprising village feel for somewhere so close to Surfers Paradise. There is a mix of property ranging from 70's apartment blocks that are in need of attention to multi million dollar waterfront mansions and units.

The centre of the island is filled with cafes and boutiques which can make getting a park difficult at the best of times. Traffic is very bad most of the time as there is only a two lane bridge at each end of the island to enter/exit from. This is also one of the main access points to Surfers.

Houses on and around the waterways are highly prized, however there are some beautiful duplex and apartment developments on the surrounding streets.

Arundel Dr

"Tidy Street, Handy to everything"

Arundel Drive itself has very few houses fronting it directly. It has a couple of well maintained gated townhouse complexes coming off it. The rest is taken up with a private golf course and parklands which makes it very popular for joggers/walkers etc.
At one end is the prestigious AB Patterson school and opposite that is a service station, bottle shop, fast food outlets and car wash.

Within 5 minutes drive you have Westfield Helensvale, Arundel Plaza, Harbourtown and many other retail shops. Another 10 minutes and you will be driving along the Broadwater heading toward Southport and Surfers.

Access to the M1 and Helensvale train station is only 5 minutes drive away and the next stage of the Gold Coast Rapid Transit light rail system will stop directly at the Northern end and connect through from the Train station down to Broadbeach.

Great for

  • Handy to everything
  • Very tidy and popular with joggers/walkers
  • Few houses on the actual road front

Not great for
