Dunorlan Road

"Dunorlan Tasmania"

A lovely quiet and peaceful place, far enough out for the roads not to be too busy and yet so close to anything one could hope to need or want. The hall itself is an historic property that used to be the centre of the community with dances and the like being held there, along with badminton tournaments. It is now on one of Tasmania's premier cycling routes with beautiful scenery to enjoy. The annual road race Targa also goes past the door giving those interested a great view of all the vehicles as they pass by.
Situated within easy driving distances for commuting to work or leisure activities, Dunorlan is an easy drive to Deloraine, home of the world famous craft fair. within the town there are all the facilities that anyone could posibly be looking for. There are two hardware stores that have everything including plants to grow the beautiful gardens that do so well in the fertile soil of Dunorlan. An abundance of shops for everything from the weekly groceries, craft items, second hand shops, newsagents, butchers photographic shop, carpet and floor coverings, restuarnts, an online access centre and numerous different self defence and martial arts classes for those who are interested in them. There is also an excellentchildcare centre and also Giant Steps which caters for special needs children
The hall itself has access to both primary and high school buses and mail to the door is in a lovely spot to take walks and not so very far up the road is a lovely river where it is possible to sit and take in nature or fish. Villaret Gardens is only a short way up the road also and gives a good indication of which plants grow well in the local area, as would looking at the gardens close by.
From the highway, a short five k's from the hall ,there are buses to Launceston and Devonport giving a broad range of choices for parents to decide where to send there children to school or to post high school education.
