Koncke Street

"beware the Greenock Mafia"

lots of bored local police constantly floating around looking for any kind of action, even when they are not on duty. Speeding trucks up and down the street, noisy power tool mad retirees. Great bird life in the area, nice neighbors (they stick to themselves) Greenock Tavern some inconsistency in meals, although serve expensive local pub meals around $35 for a decent meal, fish and chips $18, small pizza's $18, local beer pay $8 pint . Moody shop keepers and moody post office, no mail box delivery only post box numbers. local shop serves hardly anything
used to have petrol not any more, have to drive to nuriootpa for petrol and shopping. Overall the whole Barossa district BAD TAKEAWAY FOOD, If you want a decent meal Vintners, or 1918. You need to be apart of the Barossa elite to live comfortably here in the Barossa, hardly any work need to be a local etc..... Was a nice idea to move there until the experience of the whole place let us down. Still cannot get over the Bored Police presence of Barossa!!!!! and Cowboy realestate agents and up tight redneck wine makers, ( wouldn't give any pruning work need special qualifications to work in a vineyard).. ie Masters degree in pruning and picking grapes..
