Don't try and join in if you are new. People from committees complain that they can't get any help but they don't encourage new people to join. Most are not open to new ideas. Nothing to do at night if you don't like pubs. You need a car because there is NO public transport. The basic shops are here and Toowoomba is only an hours drive for Myer and the bigger stores. There is plenty of work if you are willing to do it.

If you are a young person there are only pubs. There aren't many activities for young people if you don't belong to a church.
