Jimboomba

"Growing town - offers healthy lifestyle options"

Close enough to commute to Brisbane for work but still close enough to go out to the Scenic Rim of a weekend for fishing, waterskiing or camping.
The new Jimboomba convenience centre has some good restaraunts - it offers a fair bit for the size of the town. Coffee Club, Maccas, Curry, Chinese and a bakery. There is a good steak house called Mustering something or other.
Big blocks of land mean many people have room for a good vegi patch and a horse. The new gym is super busy and video ezy is there for the lazy.
Some nice homes being built in the area, prices are down now, but it won't last.

Great for

  • The people, peace and quiet
  • Great investment potential
  • Great sense of community spirit
  • Growing country town

Not great for

  • Public transport - not an issue if you have a car

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • Hipsters
  • Country Lovers
