"Amazing value for money"

There is no flood nor storm surge, Mount Sheridan plaza is close by with Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, BWS etc., there are two schools with Trinity Anglican school being one of the better in Cairns. 14 mins drive to CBD. I think it is good value and it is growing. Not a premier suburb, but of course that is reflected in the price. It is value for money and an up and comer suburb which keeps being improved day by day.

Love the location, the neighbourhood, great transport connections. Close to everywhere within the Brisbane metropolitan area. Would not live anywhere else.

Almurta Avenue

"Great little pocket of Coolaroo"

Almurta Avenue stretches from the Coolaroo train station along the park and the Coolaroo primary school. Very clean, quiet and green part of Coolaroo. Neighbourly spirit is high and most house owners are very neat and try hard to beautify the area with flowers, trees, pots and other arrangements in their frontyards.

Coolaroo

"Hidden gem, was in the rough, but not anymore"

Coolaroo may have had a slightly negative reputation in the past, but it is an up and coming suburb in the north. Extremely strategic location with both a short drive to the airport or by bus, and a very reasonable 30 mins commute to the city. And all that for just around 500K on a large 600 square meters piece of land. Where else can you find something like that in Melbourne? Highly recommended. While the neighbouring suburbs of Broadmeadows and Roxburgh Park have more to offer in terms of shops and dining Coolaroo is heading in the right direction with the Starbucks and great Turkish restaurants. Nearby plenty of parks for kids and pets, great for jogging or evening walks.

Berala

"Inner West Sydney best kept secret"

Berala is off the radar suburb yet positioned centrally right next to Lidcombe. Getting to the CBD, Parramatta, Bankstown or Sydney Olympic park is a breeze in only 15-30 minutes. This is a very family oriented and quiet and clean suburb. It has a small town feel where neighbours say hello to each other. Transport is great with the Berala train station and buses. Berala public school is of very high quality and Auburn hospital is just a short drive away. Very closeby are Sydney Uni campus, TAFE and large golf course. Extremely affordable price for what you get, a 2BD unit is only around 450k. Don't see any better value suburb in all of Sydney.

The Crescent

"Very convenient, quiet and green with lots of trees"

The Crescent is only few minutes away from the Berala station and shops, but very quiet as it is not right next to them. Beautiful street with lots of high trees.

Jeffries Road

"Great part of Elizabeth South, one of the best"

Jeffries Road is a great location, 3 minute walk to train station, local shopping centre and school. The street is clean and quiet and neighbours are friendly. Would recommend it especially to families as a few parks abound for walks with kids and pets.

Wakehurst Place

"One of the best pockets of Kelmscott"

Living on this street is great, neighbourly spirit is high, there are very few renters if any. It is very convenient being only a 3 minute walk to the train station and local park as well as right next to the high school. Quiet and very clean area.

Kelmscott

"Likely best value suburb in Perth, convenient location and great for families"

Kelmscott's got it all for an affordable price of around 300k for a 3BD house: good shopping, plenty of good quality schools, major medical centre, short 5 minute ride to nature and hills as well as to the airport and city, only around 25-30 minutes. Would recommend it to families as it is quiet and has plenty of parks and nature for walking pets or playing with kids.

Elizabeth South

"Amazing value for money, extremely convenient and great family area"

Possibly best value suburb in Australia. Where else can you get a 3bd house on a decent sized piece of land only half an hour to a capital city CBD for around 200k? Extremely convenient location, good transport, just one stop to the huge Elizabeth shopping centre, has a few decent schools and a big hospital, a few employment opportunities within the industrial area and military base. What's not to like? Decently clean area with a few parks and trees.
