"Average"

Even though there's a river beside the station is still doesn't add much to the area. The suburb looks and feels very gray. There's not enough trees, too many high rise out of place, dodgy characters with monitoring bracelets on their ankle hanging near the station, drivers going through red lights. These all add up to a place that's not very attractive.

"Lack of community spirit"

Sure theres houses that are big and expensive but the problem with this area is the lack of community spirit. People keep to themselves here and those streets away from the main square are very dull. The streets are only lined with the one type of tree. It also borders Greenacre on its south west which isn't desirable and Centenary Drive on the west. The place isn't what is used to be, but I don't think it was ever that good.

Homebush

"Ruined by overdevelopment"

I'm commenting on the northern side of Homebush, that which is north of the railway. The whole area has been ruined by excessively large apartment developments that already look shoddy. Streets are jam packed full of cars as there's not enough parking. Used to be a good area. Now its been destroyed.

"Could of been much better"

This suburb has been over developed. It was nice at first but they should of kept a height limit of all buildings to 6 storeys. Now it's too dense, ugly and chaotic looking. And they're still building.

Rhodes

"Not bad"

I don't tend to like newly created high rise developments but Rhodes is saved from out of control development by the river surrounding it which has a very nice walking path along it, nice views, a good shopping centre and a train station.
