Opps, that's meant to be Coppin Grove, not street.
Coppin Grove appears to be quite a quiet street with nice large houses. I would not worry too much about noise unless you are directly at the junction with Burwood Road.
Fantastic! Thanks heaps for the heads up! I might have to head down and go and check it out and see how close to burwood road it actually is.
"elm street"
a great tree-lined street close to amenities and public transport. A short walk to the Yarra and the bike trails. Close to goo restaurants and shopping. Excellent schools in the vicinity.

Hi kattawar... those "goo restaurants" don't sound so good. :)
Hi Kattawar :) How long have you been living in Elm street? Is it relatively quiet or can u hear a lot of the traffic from barkers road?
Hi Pure.krome I have only been there 6 months on the side furthest from Barkers road and have had no issues with sound.
I am looking to move into the Hawthorn area, but am a bit worried by the huge prices the area seems to be getting. Do you think that the area is worth the high prices.
Hawthorn is expensive but I think you cannot loose by investing here. Additionally all the amenities in the vicinity make it worth the extra cost.
Ok will keep looking for something. Who knows might even end up in Elm St.
Hi! I'm looking at buying in Coppin Street around the corner from you and saw you reviewed Hill Street. Any idea what Coppin Street is like to live in? There seems to be nice houses, but a bit worried about living closer to main roads.
Thanks!
