Hurlstone Park

"Excellent inner west suburb"

We moved here from eastern suburbs and I just love how quiet it is! Even living close to the railway I'm just amazed to hear birds and cicadas instead of traffic and people noise we experienced in a place before. It has a very quiet and peaceful feel to it even though it's only 18min from the city! I love going for walks near the river and cycle up to Lilyfield/Five dock or Botany cycle path. New Dulwich hill light rail is 10min walk, Ashfield and Marrickville shopping centers 5min drive, Newtown 10min drive, beaches 15-25min drive (depending which one you go to). there are also talks about Canterbury development and creating a residential hub there with the new buildings going up and shopping center coming. Hurlstone park would still remain quiet and peaceful while still having access to all the areas nearby. People are super friendly, loads of families and very clean (apart from canterbury rd but I've heard they are going to lift it up a bit).
