nice place to live, close to the station but not too close to be affected by the noise or traffic. theres some shops and restaurants on the main st thats nice, and theres always Dooleys catholic club. Lidcombe is surprisingly a big station with several major lines going through it.

grew up here, beautiful street and lovely neighbours. close to primary and secondary schools. only bad thing its not too close to public transport. beware the possums at night !

great place as right around the corner is burwood rd with all the shops and restaurants. the plaza has shops and woolworths as well. however the traffic is horrendous as the exit from the plaza is here so traffic just backs up. way too many doctors, dentist, churches on this street, also its very very noisy because P platers in their done up cars tends to rev up and down burwood rd.... and considering the traffic crawls at 10kph, its pretty lame of them.
its also 2min walk to station and 5-10min to burwood westfields.
