Carramar

"Small and Quiet"

Been living in Carramar for over 4 years. The property values have increase dramatically in that time (almost doubled). It's got a lot of trees and grassy areas plus sporting facilities and parks within easy walking distance. While the neighbourly spirit isn't the best, everyone I've met is friendly enough and will say hello with a smile. There are some small shops including a Post Office and Newsagent.

Internet access is great because there is an exchange at the corner of Hume Hwy and Horsely Drive in Carramar. Having said that, you can't see most of Carramar from those big main roads and as there are no through-roads, the traffic is light and very quiet.

All in all, it's a nice place to live and any stigma over it being within the Fairfield area or near to Cabramatta should be left behind because it is neither of those places and separated enough from those places to be its own, small and quiet suburb.
