Collinson Street

"Great street with all the best qualities of the suburb - close to Maitland"

Collinson Street is a great street in Tenambit. It has some large blocks, some new duplexes, nice rendered houses and a couple of the better older homes in the suburb. The street has great views of farmland and water views of the lagoons at the other end of Tenambit, along with views to the soccer ovals and fields. Travelling the length of Collinson Street will take you to Maitland in one direction and the lovely suburb of Morpeth in the other. Collinson Street is a couple of minutes drive from Greenhills (Stockland) shopping centre, Curves gym, Jubilee Gym, Tenambit Soccer ovals (including Beryl Humble complex) and the Tenambit BMX track is at the bottom of the street. Historic Old Maitland Gaol is within a minute of the end of Collinson Street. There is a public school on the street, along with a Tavern nearby which has a terrific Chinese restaurant. Tenambit Shopping centre around the corner has a Foodworks Supermarket, Newsagent and Australia Post outlet, Fruit and Vegetables, Unicomb's Butchery, late night chemist, Tenambit Surgery, Bottle Shop, Hairdressers and Takeaway with the best burgers in the area.
