Tuerong Place is like a court but has a walk way through to a larger housing estate. All the houses in Tuerong Place are built on large blocks so you are away from your neighbours. However all neighbours are friendly and wave to each other when walking and driving up and down the street. If you want to become more friendly with your neighbours you can and they are always willing to help. There are no barking dogs and no loud parties. Because it is not a through road it only has local traffic and smaller children ride their bikes and play safely on the street. It is close to the township of Hastings so the shopping centre is easily accessible via all forms of transport. People in Tuerong Place often walk or ride into Hastings. In Hastings there is great strip shopping with the larger stores such as K-mart, Coles, and Safeway behind. There are lots of great restaurants and hotels for eating out. There are 2 state primary schools and a Catholic school and a fantastic secondary college all not far from Tuerong Place. There is also a brand new community facility next door to the secondary college. What more could you want?
