This is a wonderful location to raise a family - one block from the local primary school, just around the corner from the kindergarten, buses to the city and train station leave from the end of the street, and yet it's not a 'thoroughfare' road so very little traffic. Hawthorndene is a bit of a hidden gem - trees, tres and more trees, a national park and golf course across the main road to the north, and rural farm land to thesouth and east. But still less than 20 minutes from the city and about a 5 minute drive from the retail and business centre of Blackwood.
