Victory Street

"A great place to raise kids and a super convenient location"

A fantastically convenient location, just 400m to Asquith train station with express services to the City and Central Coast. There are 2 primary schools and Asquith Girls High at opposite ends of the street. Then there is the local Catholic Primary school and Church just around the block on Royston Pde where there is also the Anglican Church. With all these schools the only downside is the drop off and pick up through traffic only if you are really looking out for it but only lasts about 20 mins and it's back to peace and quiet. We have lovely neighbours who look out for each other. There's also our family doctors around the corner at Royston clinic. You also have the big Coles just over the railway line along with all of the other Asquith local shops consisting of Chinese and Indian restaurants, dry cleaner, op shops, newsagent, home brew, post office, KFC, cafe, barber, hair dresser, roast chook shop/take away and pizza and pasta place and more. A short pleasant stroll down the street to lovely Mills Park with playground equipment, footpath around oval, soccer field for Northern Tigers rep soccer. There's also the lovely Norwood Community Preschool and fantastic Mills park tennis complex and also the local golf club and Kuring gai Chase National park. For serious retail therapy head to Hornsby CBD for Westfield and all the other services. Hornsby Hospital is also nearby. You can hop onto the F3 to be in Wahroonga in 5 mins or head up Pacific Hwy to join F3 heading north. With access to parks, nature, natural beauty of the area, shops, health services, trains, great schools and a lovely local community it's a wonderful place to raise kids.

Murdoch Street

Lovely quiet street with riverside park at the end of the cul-de-sac giving you acccess to excellent cycle ways, open areas, playing fields, enclosed dog run. Great neighbours and safe street. Government bus 524 operates every day of the year off Boronia St giving you access to Parramatta and Top Ryde CBDs as well as West Ryde train station. Local shopping at Ermington is adequate with a decent Woolies, chemist, newsagency, 2 bread shops, CBA, fish shop, great roast chook shop and others. Other nearby options are West Ryde marketplace (big Woolies and Coles coming), Meadowbank/Shepherds Bay for Aldis, Franklins and fresh fruit and veg or Top Ryde City for everything else! All within 10 minutes drive. Property is still affordable and decent size blocks.
