Wynnum North Road

"Great Location with fantastic bay views undergoing major change!"

The north end of Wynnum North Rd is undergoing major change with 5 or 6 new luxury homes being built taking advantage of the relaxed coastal lifestyle, the fantastic bay views and non stop breezes!

Wynnum North Rd is now a quite suburban street but with the advantage of wide streets and plenty of parking.

The highlight of Wynnum North Rd is its accessibility to the Port of Brisbane motorway which is current being upgraded to a 4 lane motorway all the way to the Gateway. Currently Wynnum is a 20 min run to the City (off peak) and only 5 minutes longer during peak if you take advantage of the Port of Brisbane and Gateway.

Recommend this street and suburb to anyone!

Wynnum

"Relaxed coastal lifestyle, city accessibility/amenities."

Wynnum is a fantastic place to live. It has an abundance of walking tracks, bike paths and recreational facilities. There is nothing better to unwind than wakling along the waterfront or across the mangrove boardwalk.

For the dog lovers the dog park is a must with an abundance of friendly dogs and people, your dogs will have a ball.

There is a lack of "cafe culture" in Wynnum directly but neighbouring suburb Manly has many wonderful places to enjoy a fine meal or coffee. In time Wynnum will catch up and surpass Manly but in the mean time it is a pleasant 2 minute drive along the water.

The one thing people may not be aware of is how conveniently located to the city Wynnum is. It is about 13km straight line but around 18km by car. The beauty is, in my experience, is that you avoid 99% of the traffic that plagues most people.

I use to work at West End and it took me on average 28mins to get from our house to our office at South Brisbane. The quickest trip was 22 minutes and the longest was 46 minutes (due to an accident) always during peak traffic.

I am now working at Woolloongabba and it takes me, on average, 25 minutes to get to work. I know people that live 3km from the city in suburbs like Bulimba and Paddington, and it takes them 40 minutes to get to the city.

I believe Wynnum is still Brisbane's best kept secret as when I talk to people the belief is that Wynnum is too far away. I think that being 20min from the CBD with some of the best parks, walkways and bikeways in Brisbane makes Wynnum a great place to live.

If you are thinking of coming to Wynnum, do it now before the secret gets out!
