Osborne St

"Love it on Osborne!"

I first looked at moving to Osborne St 35 years ago. It didn't happen at that time, but I never forgot this lovely street. I moved here in 2001, and loved it. Built a house that has served us well for that time. The neighbours are great and there is an ever changing landscape each season with the change of the trees and the wild birds in the area.
Couldn't recommend this street any higher, it has it all.

Great for

  • Parks, Parks, and more Parks, well maintained too!
  • Residents take great care of their homes and neighbours!
  • Pet Friendly! Everyone has a dog!
  • 90 degree parking in really wide street gives plenty of car spaces
  • Heritage listed so ugly homes over two storeys not allowed.
  • Like a bit of country town in an inner suburb.

Not great for

  • A bit more traffic in Summer, but street so wide is not a problem

Williamstown

"Williamstown a village with Pelicans."

Willy isn't like anywhere else I have lived. It is like a village that has everything close by. The people are friendly, and the streets are pretty. Pelicans hang out at the waters edge on a Tuesday morning waiting for the fishermen to throw them scraps. It is so peaceful and serene you wouldn't believe that the city is so close. It is undervalued, so get in while you can!

Great for

  • Stunning Botanic Gardens.
  • Great Birdlife
  • Wide Leafy Streets
  • Community spirit and local feel
  • Expanding and updated shopping and restraunt scene
  • Position, Prestige, Pretty Women
  • Very little traffic and travel at lower speeds
