We moved here in 2009 after living in brisbane for 3 years. We wanted more space and a bigger house and this is where our budget suited. We have enjoyed it so far - there is a cinema, shops, doctors, hairdressers, bakery, childcare and schools all close to most areas of this suburb and its not too far from ipswich or brisbane. The road works are a bit of a pain but they wont be there forever, and they are pretty much everywhere at the moment. Neighbours and community seem friendly enough, and its quite peaceful. we have great neighbours in our street and we have settled her nicely. I would recommend it to young couples./families - nice parks and recreation areas too!

We moved here in 2009. There are sometimes a few noisy kids around and also some dirt bikes, but in general this area is pretty good and pretty quiet. We know our neighbours and both a generally nice and friendly. It is a bit of a bummer that a lot of the houses are rentals and sometimes there are not so great people moving in, but the neighbours generally get along and look after eachother. There is a great shopping centre nearby and a local woolies/bakery/hairdresser etc up the road which is so handy. Childcare is close also as well as several schools. We've been here 10 months or so and onlyhad a very small handful of parties in the street or noise distubances. I think we plan on sticking around for sometime :)
