"Peace and Quiet and a beautiful place to live!"

Hi,

My Grandpa lives in this street, and he absolutely loves it!! There's a real community atmosphere, and i think this street really epitomises what Warrandyte is all about. Its a beautiful windy heavily treed st, Up one end of the street, there's some beautiful properties and down the other you will find an abundance of cafe's, restaurants, a great pub and many small crafty stores.

And obviously, there's the Yarra River directly at the bottom of the street, which in summer has a live of its own with people flocking to the area to swim, have picnics and just chill out in the sun on the banks of the river.

There are numerous walking trails and plenty of things to do for all ages. The street itself is peaceful and well maintained.

Cheers

Chris

Chester Street

"Great Street/Estate in Lilydale"

Hi,

My girlfriends family live in this street, I'm a Doncaster boy, and one of the best things i noticed about this street was all the neighbours and how friendly they all are, Lots of your regular Aussie familys, neighbours occasionally get together to watch the footy, and have barbie's etc. It was a nice change.

From a realestate perspective, i've seen the estate develope over the past few years, the trees are growing and the number of vacant allotments in the estate are few and far between, i think it would be a good investment and/or a great place to live and from what i've heard around the traps, the Gateway estate is known as the La De Da' estate in Lilydale. Chester St specifically is nice and piecefull, very little traffic flowing through and great links to Lilydale station and the rest of Melbourne.

Cheers

Chenier Street

"Great Peninsula street, with a real beach feel!!"

We've just recently bought a house in this street and we're really happy with our choice. Its about a 1.5km walk to the back beach and a 5 minute drive to the front beach which some people might consider an issue, everyone on the street seems nice, although we haven't met many of them yet. There is very little traffic flowing through the street - which is perfect for the kids, and with Melbourne road down one end there's great links to the rest of the Peninsula.

The street is full of Monah and Tee trees, which really creates an awesome holiday feel everytime you go down there, The only downfall for us would be that its a long walk in the morning to get a coffee and the paper, but i guess with all real estate purchases there's always a comprimise between location and quality. We feel we've got a good mix of both.

Cheers
