Where else this close to the global city of Sydney can you find in inner suburbia such a great expanse of green space, waterfront walks, excellent coffee, dining options and boutique shopping on Booth Street, plus a community feel second to none? I've lived and worked here and in my 15 years residency across this city (all sides of the bridge) you can't find a better place to call home, in my view.
Neighbours still know each other and enjoy evening refreshers, dog parks are widely available - you won't have to take pooch off to the vet after an afternoon play session being attacked at random, they're all very well behaved here (though there is an excellent vet in the area!) Home-wise, choose from apartments, architectural homes, studios and terraces with a mix of done and ready-to-be-done up properties that are tightly held. We all know how good it is here!
If you're looking for the pub it's right on the corner (two of them actually) offering family options, and since Johnsons Creek reserve's rewilding, after you indulge it's just a few hills down on your walk through to Rozelle Bay foreshore to work it off. Balmy summer evenings spent in Bicentennial Park - it'sSydney living. Ole!
