Cohuna is a great place to live either raising a family or enjoying retirement . The Gunbower creek flows through the middle of town to enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiing or just long walks along the banks, the mighty Murray river is only a 15min drive away through the Gunbower forrest . The town has all the facilities with easy access, fully equipped fantastic hospital, chemist, large supermarket (open 7days & long hours), unbelievable golf course (that often is played with just you & the resident kangeroo’s no booking tee times here no 5hr rounds either!!) 2 x bowls clubs, swimming pool, water slide, great sporting community .
Obriens Road is one of the best streets in the town being placed only a few 100m from the hospital in one direction & a short stroll along the Gunbower creek to the town center in the other direction, you often see the children in the street fishing or catching yabbies in the channel off the bridge or the green banks close by, friendly people on their morning or evening walks . The street is tree lined with neat tidy & well maintained affordable homes.
