Quiet area. People do keep to themselves and not be nosy. Walking distance to the lake and shops and restuarants. Also walking distance to doctors surgeries (several), dentists (several) gyms (more than 2), swimming pool. Forest Lake has a good mixture of shops with Target, Coles, Aldi and Woolies as well as other cafes (several). We have been living here for 10 years without any crime (touch wood). Also walking distance to schools (several including both public and private).
