Lovely suburb, has large city blocks only rented here but lived here for around 2years,
very easy access to the city yet not cramped housing conditions, feel like you've still got some privacy.
It's our favourite North side postion the we every lived in.

Lived here for 3years and just loved the place, it's proximity to the Large shopping complex in Browns plains is just awsome, It's only 4kms to the Grand Plaza down one straight road. (Use to order Dominos Pizza and just go and pick it up and it would still be piping hot by the time we got home).
It's got one of the best neibourhood watch in all of Queensland, the crime rate is super low as reported in the local newsletter each and every month. It's got the million dollar houses mixed in with the very old 80's style mid 500k houses. Plenty of parks around and fantastic place for an early morning stroll around the lush pretty streets.
Great access to the Ipswich and Gold Coast Toll road which easily connects you to the Sunshine coast toll road as well.
Only problems here is the high maintance of Acerage, (basically why we sold out) if you like your weekends to do other things other then teeter around the house & yard then do yourself a favour and stick to the smalll suburban blocks cause this place will suck your weekends up.

Only moved here 6mths ago into Koolan Cres and just love the place, we moved from a 1 acre block in Forestdale (was way too much maintenance) into our Fabulous 1200sqm block backing onto Kimberly Park State Forest and could not believe that it's actually quieter here than our previous home, street is quite high perched so you get the lovely cool afternoon breezes. Neighbors are all very friendly and yet not intrusive of your privacy and it pretty much seems all owner occupier as you can tell by the house maintenance, they all take lots of pride in there castles. (lots of large houses in the street).
Location is excellent, your only 3min drive to the Massive Logan Hyperdome Shopping Complex or the Freeways the same distance which quickly connects you to Brisbane City (without going through one traffic light the whole way!) and your also half way to the Gold Coast and you can easy access Sunshine coast and Ipswich through the connecting highways. Lots of sporting facilities and an excellent private schooling (John Paul College) just 4 min down the road.

All in all it's just fabulous location. Do a drive-by ( Day & Night) like we did and you'll definitely see why you want to live here!
