Doonside

"I love it here."

I have lived in Doonside 28 years now.I live on the North side in Earle st ,and on my side of the street we all have 1214m2 blocks.Unfortunately you can't buy in this street unless somebody dies. It's certainly a far cry to what they are building on now.
A five minute walk or less we have the Train Station and bus stop, the local shops consisting of bakeries,a supermarket,Auto parts, tobacconist, pub, hairdressers, numerous G.P's Chinese and other takeaway foods. We also have the option to drive to Woodcroft,Plumpton,Marayong,Rooty Hill or Blacktown for large shopping centres.
We have the fastest internet and are a stone's throw from the Orbital.
If you drive, it's only 2 minutes to Nurrangingi reserve for a choice of picnic areas, bicycle tracks, lakes and tranquillity.
I have never experienced a break in,vandalism or any unsavoury activity on my street, although i am aware that certain pockets of Doonside aren't so fortunate.
If you like land ,there are some streets with plenty of it.If you have plenty of cash ,there is always Woodcroft, for a sizeable double story residence. If you are simply a pompous prick that thinks they are better than the person living in the fibro houso job ,but can't afford Woodcroft, there is always Huntington Heights, all having the same post code.
I hope this helps..
