Kew

"Kew Rocks"

A lot of the streets are tree-lined and full of beautiful houses, there are a lot of great places to eat and its all extremely close to public transport. It takes me about half an hour to get into the city on either a tram or by walking to Glenferrie train station to catch a train. The area is very green and bike friendly as well, lots of tracks around and the wider parts of Barkers Rd mean there is plenty of room for all of us.

Rossfield Avenue

"A quiet, tree-lined street"

For the most part, this is a great street - its close to Barkers and Glenferrie Rds but still very quiet, it is shady because of the lovely trees all the way up the street and people in the street are friendly and like to take care of their gardens, so its nice and picturesque. What lets it down is the proximity to both MLC and Ruyton girls schools means that between 7.30 and 9.00 weekdays the roads are jammed with rude mums in over-sized 4WDs dropping off kids at school - getting out at either end of this street in a hurry is not going to happen during this time (unless you are on a bike and even then you need to watch yourself). That said, its only a couple of minutes walk to the tram, Replete cafe and some nice parks
