Look, I don't expect much from the Central Coast, but what I particulary like about Tuggerah is all the shopping trolleys that incredibly lazy people leave in the streets which provide a slum atmosphere. In addition, people here have so many (crap) cars and end up parking them on the nature strips. Which leads to the inadequate level of parking at Westfield that results in a multitude of cars being parked whereever possible. It somewhat detracts from their closest neighbour, the far superior suburb of Mardi. Most people in Mardi I have noticed take pride in the presentation and upkeep of their properties.

This is not at all an accurate depiction of Tuggerah. Sure, you do get the odd mum that avails herself of a trolley and leaves it "lazily" for the Westfield man to come and collect it ( but come he does! every single day). There is an absolute abundance of parking since the major Westfield renovations some years ago.Mardi is indeed a New Estate area opposite Tuggerah Westfield. Many much larger homes and price tags. It has exactly the same demographics as Tuggerah and surprisingly more of a bogan culture. Tuggerah is quieter and there is less of the 'teen spirit' and extremely run down town houses that are sadly prevalent throughout parts of Mardi. It is in many parts a very attractive suburb, but for the larger price tag the Mardi house incurs I would place my money elsewhere.Crime is much higher in Mardi as its next door neighbour is Wyong. Big money? Spend elsewhere.
