Landsborough Street

"My beloved childhood home"

I also grew up in this street. It was a great place to grow up on. Right next door to the hospital, so whenever my brothers had an accident it was close by. However, that also meant there were a lot of ambulances and cars, so a few of our cats passed away. Landsborough St is in a nice area of Warragul, within a nice fifteen minute walking distance of town and fairly close to one of the local secondary schools. My neighbours were all nice and friendly, so I highly recommend this street.

The ambulances do turn their sirens off when approaching the hospital but you still heard the roar of the V8 engines and the lights were still flashing... ahhhh, the good ol' days.

Hey Squid, have you got any photos of the street?

hey this is great review. Is it still ok here? We are looking athe retirement village for my inlaws. I've been told it's noisy and lots of hoons on the road :(

Livingstone Road

"A grumpy visitor to Livingstone Rd"

My boyfriend lives on this road in Eltham. Normally it is a nice and peaceful street, but recently an unknown driver SMASHED into my car that was parked legally on the street. They drove off, leaving my car undrivable. Therefore, although Livingstone Rd is normally a pleasant place, it is home to hoons and generally unpleasant folk.

Squiddycat, what are the neighbors like in your street? You rated them pretty low at 1/5

Well, from the people I have met, they weren't very helpful in giving details as to what they heard about the crash. Otherwise, they weren't all that bad. I was just grumpy at the time.

Is the street usually that bad or did you just happen to pick the wrong day to park in the street? Any other damage to cars on a normal day?

RecidivousJim

Well, mrated, normally I can say that there are no car smashings going on. However, there is a fair amount of traffic. Plus I don't park on the street anymore. :)

Alford Street

"A peaceful slice of Warragul"

Alford Street is one of the nicest streets in Warragul. Big leafy trees line the street, and it is very quiet. In fact most of my neighbours are elderly, except for my housemates friends across the road. The occasional hoon drives past for our very steep hill, otherwise it is peaceful and pleasant with no dramas ever occuring.
