Arthur Street

"Quiet shady street"

Similar to Campbell Street, but quieter. Beautiful avenue of camphor laurel trees. Close to Queens Park(street ends here) and within walking distance of Webb Park. Beautiful heritage houses on large allotments, if you are looking for prestigious living. Grammar, Prep, Fairholme, St Joseph's, Mater Dei and East Toowoomba SS all within walking distance. Centrally located for town and shops. Great place to raise a family.

Great for

  • Beautiful street
  • Close to schools, parks and shops
  • Little traffic

Campbell Street

"A beautiful shady street in the best suburb"

If you live in Toowoomba, this is the most desirable area to live in. Aesthetically, it's beautiful, with avenues of green shady trees and well-kept historical homes on large blocks. Five private schools, including Grammar and Fairholme, and one leading state school are all within easy walking distance for children. Arthur Street runs into Queens Park, so there's little through traffic to the city. In fact, the most traffic are people walking their dogs. It's a very quiet street, with a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere where everyone says hello. McKenzie Row, a great little collection of shops with gourmet food, is just around the corner, but if you want more, the Range Shopping Centre, Grand Central and the town centre are only a short drive away. It's also close to the range, if you need to go to Brisbane.

Great for

  • Beautiful environment
  • Wide range of schools close by
  • Close to parks, shops, the town centre and range
