Goodes Road

"Leafy, quiet and pretty lifestyle"

Looking for a quiet, leafy street, with friendly neighbours? Well look no further than Goodes Road. The bus stop is within walking distance, as is local shopping. Also an easy walk to the larger St Agnes Shopping Centre. A 15 minute drive into the beautiful Adelaide Hills area, stop off for a coffee at Newmans Nursery. Or if the city appeals, it is only a 30 minute drive, or a quick 15 to 20 minutes easy travelling on the O-Bahn. Schools are within walking distance, and it is a safe, quiet neighbourhood. Tea Tree Plaza and The Village Shopping Centre at Golden Grove offer a huge range of shops and eateries close by, as well as many excellent restaurants with award winning cuisine. If a quick take-away is on the cards, you have Hungry Jacks, MacDonalds and a number of great Pizza shops nearby. Local shops, including pharmacies are open until 9pm 7 days a week, offering everything needed for families. We have lived here for over 16 years, and cannot fault Goodes Road in Ridgehaven, and now our daughter and her husband and young family have also moved into a lovely home in Ridgehaven as well. There are some lovely parks within walking distance, and the local council maintain the area beautifully. Civic Park hosts some wonderful entertainment throughout the year. The local Library is comprehensive and friendly, and the local Tafe is a short distance away. There are also many local businesses handy for those times when the car needs fixing, or new tyres are needed etc. There are also a number of excellent Doctor Surgeries, Dental Practices, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Podiatrists etc nearby. Plenty of Vets as well. All in all a great suburb, well priced to the young family or the investor, with everything you need close by.
