Our Rodeo is on this year on the 31st July to 2nd August, should be a great weekend.
Next year 2010 the Rodeo should be at Easter.
We do our Shopping in Quilpie or Charleville, Rail Freight is also very expensive.
Power is costly, that's really the main problem.
Most people have a back up Generators left over from before we were connected to the 'grid'
Eromanga only got power in 1987.
The Local Quilpie Council is great, they have sealed our old dirt Air Strip.

Employment - there is always a job in or around Eromanga!
l could work 24 hours a day if l wanted.
It's hot and dusty in Summer, and freezing in winter.
But inbetween times its lovely, plenty of places to go and camp and fish, nature walk, all that
sort ot stuff.
We love it out here. All the best to our visitors, we get lots of tourists, so many
that we got a computer at the museum hooked up to the internet for them.....
