Haig Street

"A nice area to live in ...."

With particular reference to Regent, it is a quiet part of Reservoir that seems to be becoming popular with young professionals. Regent Train station ( zone 1) is within walking distance and there is also a bus stop in Haig St. Preston Market is not far away nor is the very busy and vibrant High Street, with its many and varied eateries and lots of opportunity for retail therapy.

In Regent, neighbours still tend to maintain their front gardens and say a friendly 'hello' to each other and whilst relatively close to the city, birds can still be heard singing in this suburb on a Sunday morning ....

Mount Cooper Drive

"A nice neighbourhood, in a good location."

Whilst Mount Cooper is part of Bundoora, it has a feel of its own: with lovely large homes, lots of (protected) trees, many types of birds and lots of fresh air. Within walking distance we have: a number of restaurants, medical centres, schools, child-care centre, a health club, shopping centre, tram to CBD and to university, bus, a huge park, a golf club, fire station, ambulance station ... and the list goes on and on - no wonder it is one of the most popular and most desirable pockets of Bundoora. Our family has lived here for over 10 years and we just love it!

McLean Street

"A nice, quiet family area....."

Mc Lean Street is a nice, traditional area that is undergoing a lot of rejuvenation. People are renovating lovely period homes and building new homes that enhance the area. Not too far from schools and transport but far enough from the noisy and troublesome parts of Sunshine...
