Lidcombe
"A small town"
I like the transport here, but considering no local shopping centre, Lidcombe public shcool is just ok, hope council will update facility as more and more apartment being built. Safety could be issue as well. I would not recommend to families.

- Close to CBD and M5 and M4 motorways

- No shopping centre

Berala
"Great place for family"
Berala is a quiet and convenient small town, espeically suitable for family.
Price: it is still a lot cheaper than Lidcombe.
Transport: it got train station, close to Parramatta road, M4 etc.
Shopping: 5 minutes drive to Auburn, and it's new shopping centre will be completed soon.
School: Berala public is one of the best in the area.
