Glenferrie Place

"Glenferrie Place, The Gap -Pleasantville!"

Resting just at the foot of Mount Cootha, Glenferrie Place is an immaculate cul-de-sac. It has a lovely balance of family life with young children and older living in the street.

The neighbours are awesome, often giving out fruit and veg from their gardens and stopping for a chat. Christmas and halloween are dates on the calendar where the street goes to town in its celebrations. Very safe for children to play. Great for walking and cycling routes straight from the street - so a lot of time no need for the car.

Village shopping centre; public transport, good primary & high schools very near. 5 minute drive to get onto Mount Nebo road and to visit Walk about Creek. 2 gyms near by too

No noisy traffic and very well presented with everyone taking pride in their surroundings.

The Gap

"The Gap - Brisbane's most lush suburb"

The Gap is only 9/10 km from Brisbane city centre and has clean air, beautiful walking / cycling tracks; great schools and a real sense of community. Its safe and very friendly - the kind of neighbourhood where children play in the street and many of the people who live there grow their own herb gardens, sharing their produce with their neighbours.
Its quite an affluent suburb with many residents being business owners. There is a village centre where you can buy all your groceries and daily needs.

Its less than a 10 minute drive to Ashgrove; Paddington & Bardon where there are many lovely restaurants; boutiques and bars and cinema - so you really never need to venture into the city where parking is expensive.

The plots of land are generally larger than other suburbs, so it is excellent value for $ - i don't know how long it will stay so!

Great for

  • Large plots of land
  • Very clean air
  • Relatively close to the city
