Family friendly?

We are considering moving to wagga with our young family from North Coast nsw. We have family in Tumut we would like to be closer to.

Wagga is a great, family-friendly city overall. As with most locations, there are highly desirable and less desirable parts of town in which to live but on the whole, Wagga offers a lovely community. It is the primary hub for the region and offers plenty of opportunities for employment, shopping, healthcare and entertainment. It also offers excellent public and private schooling options - keep in mind that the public school system is quite strict on zoning, so where you live will impact on where your kids can go to school. There are also plenty of opportunities for day trips to outlying towns and villages to visit their tourist attractions.
